    Authentic 1871 Pattern British Royal Dragoons 6th Regiment Helmet + Plume (M10)
    Scarce original 1871 Pattern British Royal Dragoon Guard 6th Regiment Helmet with Plume. The center of the helmet reads, "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" which translates "
    Shame on Him Who Thinks evil of it" (the motto of the Order of the Garter)
    In Excellent condition.  Some minor denting throughout but very clean. The plume has been replaced with a red synthetic plume. There as a professional repair to the plume holder at the base. The chin strap is original and fully intact. Internal labels and other marks are unreadable. Size about 7 1/2" A wonderful and rare piece.
