    Description

    Curtis AC controller model 1238-6501 reprogrammed with factory OS removing dealers speed and power limitation VCL. Usable up to 84vdc
    and programmable using any Curtis type programmer either user, dealer or OEM mode to set ALL parameters. Other 1238-6501 on EBAY have
    OEM VCL programming installed that disallows the changing of the motor POWER and RPM. Most motors can be changed to 8k rpm for increased
    speed for golf carts, EV conversions, etc. Buyer should have some AC motor knowledge in programming to avoid damaging the motor
    using the wrong parameters. ALL parameters can be changed including the type of pot, charging voltage, battery voltage, etc. Contact seller if you
    have a 1238-6501 and wish to trade it in or have it reprogrammed with new OS. Please note, the 35 pin
    receptacle
    has a piece of plastic
