When I first looked at it I though it was the invasion of manchuria. Then I looked deeper hhhmmm there is no cars. I dug through japanese general and spent some time on figuring out the japanese general in the first couple of pages. It is Nogi Maresuke. He died in 1912. Plus that one photo of the japanese and russian taken a pic together is well known after I found out who nogi was. Cover has some wear from use and storage. As any asian book it opens right to left and the first page is heavily yellow. The rest are slightly yellow from age. Some darks spots on the edges of the pages. No loose pages. The fold out maps are delicate at best. The one was ripped before I got it. The other one is find. Shows the boat positions of the the ships in Port Arthur. None of the pages are numbered to where I can read them. Has to be over a 125 pages. Lots and lots of photos of the japanese navy artillery sites, trenches blown up targets and sunk ships. Looks like they had some fun. Ive been collecting and selling militaria for 20 years and I dont recall ever having or selling japanese historical books. German, british, american and italian, hell all the time. But japanese no. I searched google for a hour and nothing. Buy them when you see them.I WILL NOT SHIP TO ANY OTHER COUNTRY.
