German Model 1898 Sawback Bayonet + Sheath P.D. Luneschloss Partial Ears

Description

Imperial German Bayonet Model 1898 Sawback Pioneer with scabbard. Bayonet measures 19-3/4" overall with a blade length of 14-1/2".  Very good with age patina, wear, scattered fine smooth pitting.  Partial muzzle-ring, ears.   The press-stud ejector mechanism is excellent working.  Blade marked, "P.D. LUNESCHLOSS SOLINGEN" Steel Scabbard with a brown/black age patina, some light dings, back of scabbard marked, 829.  A very nice original piece. 1915 date on spine.   See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
