Surplus Photography Darkroom Door
generally these are used to maintain a darkroom area separate
(and dark) from another area / or room.  I have seen one used
in a pet clinic to keep an area isolated.
Picture 2 makes it appear there is no base, but that is misleading.
There is a base, so when you step into the center, and
you spin the door closed in front, as it opens to the next room,
you are standing on a floor.
The unit is complete, ready to use.  We had it for a couple
weeks until the one we had ordered finally arrived.
82" tall, 42" wide side to side, and 36" deep (front to back) - overall dimensions.
There is a 3-1/2" flange on top and both sides to mask any open space
when you create the doorway.  That makes it very easy to install.
The installation space we cut was 80" x 38", so the fit is easy and the
flanges mask the extra opening completely.  It stands flush to the floor.
There is a handrail inside the opening to hold onto as you enter and
spin the door to close opening.
Inside dimensions:  33" dia. x 75" tall.
Unit is pretty light - two people can manage to move / load it.
Made of a tough plastic and metal trim with a
Lazy Susan type platform inside base of door.
