All of which sold for TOP DOLLAR. I bought this hat, and it raised more questions than to varrify as original. So, that being said, the hat I believe IS an original, however, the earlist I can trace back the manufature is 1918. The hat cord I no doubt feel is an old replica. The EGA insignia may be a Bannerman replica from the 1930s. I can not CONFIRM this, but it is a hunch, based on others who looked at it. The hat shows wear, age and dust. So IF you bid, you do so KNOWING full well, I am selling this AS A REPLICA AND ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS. SO use caution when bidding. You MAY know more than me, and perhaps I am wrong.
