For your consideration is this magnificent 1904 Pattern USMC Officer Eagle Globe and Anchor matched collar set in exceptional original condition.  This is far and away the nicest Gemsco set we've seen in person OR online. There are absolutely no issues here. Both Pin mechanisms and catches are in perfect working order.  Both are makers marked by Gemsco. On the rare scale, this set is quite simply a "10 out of 10". Every few years a single "Gemsco style" collar EGA in this pattern shows up and sells in the 0-300 range. Each of these past sales in this pattern EGA have been absent of an actual Gemsco makers mark, and included the caveat that reference materials confirm them to be Gemsco pattern. To further illustrate the scarcity of this sought after early Officer set, I cannot find any record of past sale; anywhere.   They have not been cleaned in any way, and are absolutely beautiful. These would be welcomed by even the most advanced of collectors. I hate to see them go, but they're a little too nice for my collection at present.
