The M.C.M. Step Wedge has been designed by the Editor of the Miniature Camera Magazine in collaboration with ILFORD Research Department as an aid to serious photographers who wish to classify papers by an accurate method of testing.
THIS Vintage Photographic accessory Iis comprising of graduated grey strips of cellulose graded from 1. (clear ) through to 9. (black) sandwiched between to glass plates.
This was an aid to obtaining correct printing exposure in the darkroom. The plate comes in a green covered box that is lined with cream satin and velvet. The cover is inscribed in gold lettering:- " M.C.M. Wedge – Manufactured by Ilford Ltd."
It is estimated to be produced around 1939.
the general condition of this interesting vintage items is good.
The
bottom glass part of the scale has a crack
-see images -but still it is quite firmly sandwiched.
The green leatherette of the box is slightly loose in one of the corners-see images.
The glass of the scale has many dust and other spots that comes with its age-might need cleaning if at all.

International orders are shipped via international economy parcel post-registered (comes with tracking).

The shipping costs you pay depend on the weight and value of the items and where they are being sent to.

Return Policy

Return shipping costs are non-refundable. However, on exchanges, we provide the cost of shipping the replacement product back to you. (International registered economy parcel post) If the item is being returned as a result of an error by Blumar and you have received an incorrect or defective item then we will refund reasonable return postage costs.

Dear buyers,
Due to the situation we experience very large delays in shipping transfer and deliveries.
